All About The Month

Women’s History Month. The month where we celebrate all the accomplishments that women have made in the past to get us where we are now. This was not an easy job. It took and still takes a lot of work from women but also some other people to keep progressing in the world with equality between men and women. This month is an annual celebration. The women in the past have had the extreme courage and bravery to help us have the opportunities and freedom that many women take for granted. Women’s History Month is an important month to reflect and be grateful for all the women in the past and the women in the world right now that have achieved so much for women’s rights and freedom.

The History

You might be wondering about the Who? What? When? And whys? of this important month. This month started back in 1987 in California as a smaller celebration. As time went on, more and more people started recognizing and celebrating this month. This month was the technology created by Congress but it is much deeper than just that. This month roots back to when women were fighting for the right to vote. When women were fighting for equal pay compared to men. When women were fighting to be hard. When women were overlooked just because they are female.

How To Celebrate This Important Month?

There are many different ways to celebrate Women’s History Month. It is important to know different ways to since many people don’t even know that this month is celebrated every year. One easy way to celebrate is to simply learn about the History of Women’s rights. With a little research, you can learn how far the world has come. Another way is to be aware that women are still facing issues. You can do research and found out how you can help. By signing petitions, donating, and advocating on social media. You can make a difference in the issue that you are fighting for.

Since the beginning of time, women have been fighting for the same rights as men have. Men have always had a step above women. Throughout history, women were always responsible for taking care of the house, the kids, and all that comes with that. Women had to fight for the right to vote, work, and many more things. Today, the world has gone a long way since those times, but women are still fighting for equality. Many women get treated differently in work fields just because they are women. It is especially hard to fight for the top spot in a field when it is dominated by men. It is important to understand that these issues are still happening today and everyone needs to help take down these issues.
