Mr Kraft has a great background and story of how he became who he is today. He is a “Spanish 2” and “Lang and Culture 2” teacher here at the high school. He went to Potsdam in upstate New York for school. He has been at Hauppauge for 21 years. The things that made him become a teacher were a teachers he had himself. He inspired him to teach in a unique way and it shows in the classroom.
Teaching Method
Mr Kraft’s teaching method makes a fun learning environment and experience. He gives us the vocabulary list and gives us multiple papers in order to get us comfortable with the words. We work in groups constantly for the class to get to know each other. Based on Mr Kraft’s methods, he obviously is a big fan of collaborative work and he most likely got this from his teacher that inspired him to teach in the first place.
Teachers Impact
Mr Kraft’s impact on not only me but the entire class is massive. Mr Kraft is more willing to help with work more than any teacher I have probably had. This goes for teaching me the rules of how to structure words in Spanish, spell them, etc. His creativity in projects and teaching methods has allowed me to not only strengthen my academics, but my friendships when we do collaborative work.
