The clock’s hands are always going

Appreciate things while you can tend

Some friendships will have a bitter end

But that is a part of growing

But remember time is not your friend

There are lives you can not extend

No matter how much you wish time would start slowing

I urge you to appreciate things while you can tend

As life goes on many things will feel like a dead-end

But please don’t give up, just keep flowing

Always have a plan for the weekend

Grab ideas and run, the days are always foregoing

Appreciate the days while you can tend

Life’s curves are something most can’t comprehend

But make the most out of it, pick up a hobby like sewing
