I couldn’t sleep last night

I couldn’t sleep last night 

My kid had her friend over and they were so loud

The construction workers were working all night 

So I went downstairs

So I went outside

I told them to be quiet

I told them to be quiet

They told me ok

They told me to go home

I went back upstairs 

I went around the corner

Back to my bed 

Back to my box

And I slept

And I tried to sleep
