Mrs. Dychkowski is a dedicated teacher at Hauppauge High School. She
teaches geometry, statistics, functions, and trigonometry. Her education
includes studies at Suffolk, SUNY Old Westbury, and a master’s degree
from Stony Brook. With 18 years of teaching experience in Hauppauge,
Mrs. Dychkowski’s passion for wanting to become a teacher stems from
her lifelong love for school and mathematics, a dream she has held since
elementary school.
Impact of teaching
Having had Mrs. Dychkowski as my teacher for both sophomore and
senior year. I can really say she is an amazing teacher. Math has always
been a challenge for me, but Mrs. Dychkowski consistently provided extra
help, sacrificing her free time to make sure I understood the math we
were learning, especially when it was very hard for me. Her teaching
methods are very effective, making math so much easier to learn. Without
her support, passing would have been impossible, and her teaching and
help continues to be invaluable and a great help.
Personal Impact
Even beyond academics, Mrs. Dychkowski has significantly contributed to
my college aspirations by writing a recommendation letter that helped
my acceptance into Cortland. Her influence extends beyond the
classroom as well, shaping my personal growth throughout high school. I
am deeply grateful for her guidance and hope all students have the
opportunity to learn from such a great teacher. Thank you, Mrs.
Dychkowski, for everything you have done.
