For Teacher Appreciation Week, I chose Ms Moxham. She has a really inspiring way of teaching by making it fun, and it helps me obtain the information. Ms Moxham is an English teacher at Hauppauge High School. She has been teaching for about 23 years. She wanted to become a teacher because when she was at school, she saw teachers as her inspiration to become one of them one day.
Ms Moxham’s Method
She has a very gentle way of teaching, she’s not very aggressive with her teaching. I think that helps me learn a lot easier in that case. She reads stories in a very straightforward way, and it helps because she doesn’t stutter as much.
Mrs. Moxham’s Impact
In terms of my grades, she grades things very gently. I am not so good at English, and my grades have been pretty good for not being super good with English. She impacted my ability to obtain and memorize things better. An example could be our vocabulary quizzes. I used to do somewhat okay on them, and now it’s super easy for me!
