Publishing her first YouTube video in 2007, in which she poorly asserted herself as a rising rapper with a questionable rendition of Vanilla Ice’s “Ice Ice Baby”, Paytas began her rise to stardom as the internet’s most ludicrous public personality. Her fame reached new levels as she was featured on My Strange Addiction in 2010 as a tanning fanatic, Guinness World Records Unleashed as the self-proclaimed “fastest-talker”, and in music videos from esteemed artists, such as Eminem and Amy Winehouse.
