Who is Mr. Shehigian?

    1Mr. Shehigian is a social studies teacher here at Hauppauge High School. He teaches a variety of classes including IB History to AP Gov. He is a fun-loving guy and is an all-around fu teacher. When you stumble upon him, you can’t miss him because he really fills the room with energy every day. You can find him in room 252, or even out and about at various school events he helps organize. 

Teaching Method

     Mr. Shehigian’s teaching method is all about participating in the classroom. While he may randomly call on you in class, he only means well. He may very easily get off topic very quickly, but you always manage to finish the lesson by the bell. In his class, you’ll learn all about the United States and even beyond that can help better your understanding of the world!

Impact

     Mr. Shehigian’s impact is huge, he will make a large presence on his students. He teaches all his students to be confident and comfortable. He teaches them how to make an impact in their democracy and the importance of their voice. He connects with them and helps to make the content digestible for students. Overall, he is a wonderful teacher and is a memorable teacher that you will definitely visit in the future!
