All About Air Fryers

All+About+Air+Fryers

By now, everyone knows what an air fryer is due to the fact that it has become very popular in the past couple of years. If you haven’t heard of what it is, an air fryer is a small countertop convection oven. It is a mixture of a fryer without the oil and an oven minus the size. An air fryer is an easy, healthy way to make fried food or make food crispy.

Features:

  • Easy to use
  • Easy to set-up
  • Easy to clean
  • Cooks food perfectly
  • cooks food crispy but tender inside
  • Uses minimal oil
  • Less of a mess than fryers or ovens
  • Removable basket

Benefits:

There are many benefits to using an air fryer. One benefit is that it is a healthier way of cooking food that you want to be crispy. Instead of using heated-up oil, and having the food saturated with the oil, it cooks the food to be just as crispy as food fried in oil. Not only does the air fryer have health benefits, but it also is much safer than deep frying with oil or using an oven. Cooking with oil can be dangerous with the oil jumping out of the pot and having to put the food in and out of the hot oil.

Pros and Cons:

There are many procs and cons to buying and using an air fryer. The pros are safer to use compared to other cooking items and healthier, but in every good product, there are always downsides. Air fryers, in general, have limited capacity since it goes on the kitchen counter, and to accomplish that it has to be small. People say that the air fryer burns food easily and dries food out. Also, it can become pricey for a convection oven. All in all, air fryers have many pros but also many cons.

What you need to know:

The cost of air fryers depends on the model you pick. The range of the cost is about $50 or $200 and more. This all depends on the size and different controls. If you have a larger family you are recommended to buy the bigger one, but even with the bigger one, it will take time to cook a meal. Air fryers are recommended for smaller families or single people, also for people on a weight loss journey or trying to be healthier in general.
