Sarah Beggins’ Senior Reflection
Senior year , a year of ups and downs and altogether a certainly enjoyable experience. From the things I’ve learned in K-12 to the things I’ll learn in college and beyond, I will carry the memories I had in senior year to my career and future life. I have made some of the best of friends, I’ve lost people, and have made relationships with others I never thought I would have. Clubs I’ve joined and groups I’ve grown with shaped me into the person I am today and I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way. Both in and out of the classroom I have learned life lessons, advice, and made memories I’ll never forget. This year was full of joy and sadness and new beginnings, starting off with the joy this was our first year without masks and back to normalcy !! Getting to see my friends’ faces and teachers for the first time in 3 years was nothing short of amazing and made me realize to cherish the moments we have together. As for my future plans and career, I am attending Farmingdale State College where I am majoring in Liberal arts. I am hoping to do one semester at school and then attend the Disney College program which is something I’ve been looking forward to for years. I am taking the wonderful skills I’ve learned at Hauppauge High School into my years beyond and can’t wait to see where it takes me. And lastly, just a few tips for underclassmen, don’t let your high school experience pass you by in a blink. Cherish time, memories, and relationships because it is something that is gonna move fast and you’re gonna miss everything you didn’t get to do.
