Ellen is an American comedian, actress and television host of her own show. She is known for her quirky observational humor, always giving back to her fans as well as the community. Over the years Ellen has given millions of dollars out in donations to people. She has donated full expense paid vacations, money for college, and donations to charities. Ellen was Born on January 26, 1958 (age 64 years) in Metairie, LA. When she was only a little girl  her parents got divorced , she was born into a well known  family. Even though she ended her show she still raises awareness for causes and donates money.

   She has inspired many individuals and really impacted many people’s lives through the years. Her TV show really was a hit. Not only did she give back to society, but she changed society. She has really impacted many people. She is a role model to many and inspires people to do good deeds. She tells the truth that’s another thing that many people love about .Also her optimistic attitude is what makes her so successful. Ellen is teaching our society about equality, kindness, and empathy to make the world the most loving place it can be. She is also known to care and look out for people. Ellen is a person that is always very understanding and outgoing. She will support many different people and will show that on her show.

     On April 29,2022 Ellen officially announced that she is ending her show. Ellen had an amazing career and was very thankful for all the opportunities that she did as stated in a recent article. She also stated that she  had undergone a rough year, during which accusations of the series being a toxic workplace became public. DeGeneres acknowledged the scandal in the show’s Season 18 premiere last fall. Even Though she may look very happy, Ellen has struggled and had to overcome many difficult obstacles. For instance, she came out about her sexuality back in April 14, 1999. Many people look at her in a negative way but other have been inspired by her confidence and how she portrayed her self to society. 

     There are many people who look at Ellen as an inspiration after she came out. Others may not be a fan of her work, but everyone has their own opinions. As stated in an article, Ellen strengthens herself as a role model. She is being herself, and is still successful, regardless of society’s opinion. Ellen will still be a role model for many people and will donate to many charities even though she will no longer be a host of her TV show. It took her several years to get to where she is now.   She is very grateful for the things that this path has given her.
