Stephen Curry is a renowned professional basketball player celebrated for changing the game with his amazing shooting skills and offensive plays. Although his birth name is Wardell, he goes by Steph. Born on March 14, 1988, in Akron, Ohio, Curry is a two-time NBA Most Valuable Player and has played for the Golden State Warriors his entire career. He grew up in a basketball-oriented family both Dell Curry, his father, and his brother, Seth Curry are NBA players, Seth still plays but Dell is retired. Curry currently lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with his wife Ayesha Curry. He is one of the most influential basketball players of his time. His time with the Warriors has been truly impressive with three NBA championships and numerous records broken. He has a renowned name that seemingly everyone is familiar with. Curry’s impact extends deeply beyond basketball and he truly has an amazing impact on both society and his passion for basketball.

Stephen and his wife, Ayesha, fight to end childhood hunger through the Stephen and Ayesha Curry Eat.Learn.Play. Foundation, which they founded in 2019 with a focus on improving the lives of kids and families in Oakland and across the country. The organization is committed to unlocking the unique potential of every child making sure students have access to healthy food, quality education, and a safe place to exercise/stay active. The entire foundation is centered around the message that children are our future. Curry strives to develop partnerships and initiatives that make a lasting positive impact.
